Amazon stated on November 16th, 2020 that HBO Max has been added to the Amazon Store. You don’t need to sideload HBO Max onto your FireStick any more.

HBO Max is a streaming service that includes all HBO originals as well as your favorite movies and TV shows from other networks. Peacemaker, Raised by Wolves (Season 2), DMZ, and more are now available on HBO Max.

On March 8, 2022, HBO Max will launch its service in 15 new European countries, replacing HBO España and HBO Go. If the HBO Max app does not appear in the Amazon Store, you need to sideload the HBO Max APK from alternative sources.

Install HBO Max on Firestick using Downloader App

Follow the steps given below to install HBO Max using ES File Explorer right away in a few minutes:

Step 1: To start, we need to turn on Apps from Unknown Sources, as we did above. (Step 1-6 from the first method)

Step 2: Navigate to the Find tab from the FireStick Home screen, then click on the Search icon.

Step 3: In the search box, enter “ES File Explorer” and choose the first result that appears.

Step 4: Choose the ES File Explorer application from the list and press on Get or Download.

Step 5: When the download is complete, click Open.

Step 6: Click on Agree.

Step 7: Navigate to the bottom and choose Tools from the left menu.

Step 8: Next select the Download Manager tab. (First tab)

Step 9: Press on “+ / New.”

Step 10: Copy and paste the URL “https://bit.ly/apk-hbomax” into the Path field and type a name (i.e. HBO Max) into the Name field.

Step 11: Press the “DOWNLOAD NOW” button.

Step 12: Now, wait until the download is complete.

Step 13: When the download is complete, press Open File.

Step 14: Press INSTALL.

Step 15: Press INSTALL once more.

Step 16: Choose DONE.

HBO Max Kodi Addon Installation Guide

Follow the steps below for installing the HBO Max addon on Kodi:

Step 1: Open Kodi.

Step 2: Click on the Settings icon. (Gear icon)

Step 3: Click on System.

Step 4: Click Add–ons from the left-hand panel, and then turn on Unknown Sources from the right-hand panel.

Step 5: Click on Yes.

Step 6: Press the back button on the remote to return to the System page.

Step 7: Choose File Manager.

Step 8: Now, click the Add Source button.

Step 9: Click on <None>.

Step 10: Type the following URL exactly the same as it is written here- “http://k.slyguy.xyz” and click OK.

Step 1: Open FireStick Home screen.

Step 2: Navigate to the Find tab and Click on the Search icon.
